Why were U asked to facilitate - 17 replies.

 Why were you asked to facilitate ?  Here is the group response !! 


(1)  To train freshers, refereshers - onboarding . 

(2) To educate , to introduce new product, process . 

(3) To enable decision making . To support , to guide the group to make decisions .  To align priorities to make sure, decisions are made in the session. 

(4) Consensus building . To build consensus and collaboration between different partners and different stake holders.  Leaders want the team meetings to be engaging and productive . 

(5) For group and individual goal setting. 

(6) To impart my public policy making knowledge 

(7) Problem solving, when problem is complex and not easily solvable in individual departments. To find the root cause of problems. To identify problems. 

(8)  To lead project teams. To bring new members into the existing projects and rope people together. To help leaders align their projects to organizational strategic priorities.  To facilitate internal team meetings for project updates and lessons learned. 

(9) For process improvement initiatives. For creating and updating crisis protocols. 

(10) To create and lead a community of practice. 

(11) To generate discussions around organizational culture and team culture. 

(12) When team convergence requires a little more mathematical help 

(13)  To encourage collaboration between different departments .  To create meetings between various functional teams that work in silos . 

(14)  To social ideas around change management. For behavioral change . Of individuals and groups. 

(15)  To offer technical assistance and to support learning. 

(16) To create strategic plan for the organization and to create business unit plans 

(17)  To facilitate meetings with the organization with their clients and help build consensus , through negotiating . Leading the process.
